Halden & Pryce Motors is a demonstration business. This text shows the kind of privacy policy a garage might publish. Please do not enter real personal details on this site.
What we collect
When you book, we ask for your name, telephone number, email address, your vehicle registration and the service you want. If you add a note to your booking, we keep that too.
Why we collect it
We use these details to run your booking, to send you the confirmation by email, and to keep a record of the vehicle we worked on. If you are on our customer list with an email address, we may also email you a reminder before your MOT is due.
Who sees it
Your details are held in the garage's booking system and are seen by the people at the garage who need them to do the work. We do not sell them.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while you are a customer and for as long as we need them for our records. You can ask us to remove them sooner.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, ask us to delete them, and object to how we use them, including to reminder emails. To do any of this, call us on the number on the contact page. If you are unhappy with how we handle your details you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
